Crispy Cheesy Breaded Chicken Tenders
- 1.5 lb chicken tenders
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 2 eggs , beaten
- 1.5 cups plain breadcrumbs
- 1 package Cheddar Moon Cheese
- Cooking oil
Season the chicken tenders on both sides.
In three shallow dishes, place the flour in one, the eggs in another, then in the third – the breadcrumbs.
In a ziplock bag, crush the package of moon cheese in chunky crumbs.
Mix the moon cheese into the breadcrumbs.
Coat the chicken tenders
Dip in flour, then egg, then in breadcrumbs.
Heat cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high
Cook in batches (don’t crowd the skillet!) on both sides until internal temperature reaches 165F
